Encaustic

This art form is referred to as “hot wax painting” and is centuries old.  It was first practiced by the Greeks as far back as the 5th century.  Bees wax and resin is combined with pigment and is used similarly as paint, but it can be difficult to work with and it takes time and patience to realize a completed piece of art.  This medium offers the ability to express dimension and depth that cannot be obtained by paint alone.

I use the finest quality wax medium and pigments to ensure that your art is proudly displayed.
